I perform repairs and tune-ups mostly during the spring and summer months. Most tune ups can be completed in two days. Time for repairs and other services vary. Below are current fees.
I have been repairing and servicing bicycles for over 30 years. I will take care of your bicycle and make sure it is in good and safe riding condition. Prices are subject to change without notice. Contact me for more information.
Bicycle Repair Prices for 2024
Note: Bicycle will be cleaned to the point of accessibility to allow tune-up only. Bike washing is an extra service.
Basic Tune-Up $50.00
Adjust front and rear brakes and lube cables (I will service some manual disk brakes)
Adjust front and rear derailleurs and lube cables
Lube chain and drive train
Adjust bearing surfaces (headset, hubs) – externally if necessary
True front and rear wheels laterally (not including rim or spoke replacement)
Lube and oil all moving parts
Inspect frame and fork for straightness
Inflate tires to proper levels
27 Point Safety inspection
Additional labor service charges
Replace cables $2.00 - $6.00 per cable (depending on system)
Replace tire/tube $2.00 per wheel (off bike)
Replace tire/tube $4.00 per wheel (removal from bike)
Minor Wheel True $5.00 per wheel
Bicycle wash $10.00 (performed with tune-ups and other services only in the spring and summer months)
I have some inventory of cables, tires, tubes, chains, and other parts available for reasonable prices. I will also install or replace your own parts for the above labor charges.
I also have used reconditioned bicycles for sale. Most are between $100.00 – $200.00. Please feel free to inquire.
Payment is due upon receipt: Cash and Venmo for exact amount only.
